It’s taken longer to get back to it than I expected. I’m always hopeful that when I am printing I will be able to sustain some momentum but I can never be sure. Whenever I have commercial work to do for clients I really cannot justify doing my own work instead, and I’ve had a lot of film work to do recently. Unfortunately, all of it is still in progress so I cannot advertise what I have been doing yet!
Anyway I am working on a proper edition of screenprints – a variable edition of 16. I am still experimenting and learning as I go, but this is an attempt to create a single print, just in 16 variations. I’m not quite sure how radically different they are going to be yet. The photo above is of the background after 3 colours in varying colour combinations. There will be at least 3 more colours on each. I’ll post again when I’m a bit further on.
