From the experience of adding news items to my business website over the last few years, I know that to be able to make regular postings it needs to be easy to do. To that end I have set things up so I can post from my mobile phone, which I am doing now.
Having just completed my first variable edition of screenprints and also having experimented with cyanotypes, I am now going to explore combining the two techniques together to see what happens.
I have also realised that, whilst it was probably not relevant when creating short films and photographs for clients, for a return to making art and printmaking I need to reacquaint myself with regular drawing practice.
So I have bought myself a new small sketchbook. There is something tremendously exciting about new sketchbooks that is hard to put into words. It is to do with anticipation and possibilities and the unknown, and the big challenge will be to maintain those initial feelings.
